I have lived through and healed from traumatic events in my own life. I know the darkness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I have first hand knowledge of the challenges of choosing to live when the nightmares, the flashbacks, the panic attacks, the insomnia, the seemingly never ending adrenaline, the physical and emotional pain compounding each other all pile on and block out the light of hope. I know that choosing to heal is the most courageous war that anyone will ever fight. This personal insight coupled with my professional knowledge and experiences makes me uniquely qualifed to provide support with greater than having read a textbook understanding.

I am committed to being a safe place to be completely raw and honest regardless of the emotion or the thought. I give space to bring the intensity and darkness into the open and allow it to breathe without judgement.

I believe that all emotions are acceptable but not all behaviours are.

I believe that when we feel the feels that don’t feel comfortable or enjoyable, we are then also able to feel the feels that feel exquisite and joyful.
